Hi guys, I have a 2f carburetor. It's model stamp date is may 6 1975. It's from a Parts truck I had used for miscellaneous parts for my restoration. I don't really know anything about it as far as what the working condition is like. The truck hasn't ran in about 5 years according to the previous owner of the truck.
My guess is that a good rebuild would do the trick for it. No rust and all linkages and both butterfly valves open up when you twist the accelerator linkage. Choke moves like it should and engages the accelerator slightly at full choke. If you have any questions pm me or reply on here. I'm from north Texas area but wouldn't mind shipping.
Asking 75$ or best offer.

Looks like the idle solenoid wire has been cut. That's a shame.

I'll put a hot wire to it either this evening or tonight and see if it still activates or not. I don't know why the dude cut it so close to the solenoid. Worse comes to worse I could solder a wire to the stub of the existing and see how she operates.
Good info I didn't even notice it, thanks!

You should unscrew it from the carb. If the wire has been cut, there is a higher likelihood that the other end has been 'modified' as well.

Good info, just took it out and they did take out the needle.
I have a new one I can throw in if anyone is interested in the carburetor. The cotoff solenoid is 15$ from CCOT so I can take that off of the price or send whoever the new one that I have

Is this still available? Will it work on a 87 fj60?
