I am going to sell the 2f and tranny transfer in my red cruiser. I will give you guys first shot at it.
It is a 75 2f rebuilt by stew about 3 years ago:
Stew's description;
4.2L- Honed- New rings, bearings, cam, timing gears, rebuilt head, new oil pump and all gaskets, Milled intake and exhaust to match flatness for better sealing, 5k miles
complete with bellhousing and clutch(new when stew put it in)

I have put about 2000 miles on it. $600

H42 /2.28 toybox / 3speed case with saver $1400

$1900 for both, prices are firm

would you be willing to part with the toybox on it's own?

The toybox and the inputshaft from the tranny are the$$$$ in this combo. 1250 without transfer

transfer also has a twinstick setup

I really should pick up the 2F. If I only had the spare cash right now.

You should buy both and skip the 5speed idea... Better gearing and motor all in one! : pokethebear:

You could re-sell it for double......:clap:

I should have bought a second and sold it, but I didn't have the money to put up front.

Yeah but I like the idea of the 5 speed.

if you have stock 4.11 gears and 35's, the only time you will use 5th gear is downhill, 50mph and a tailwind

5 spd w 2.28 transfer= about 40:1 crawl ratio
h42/toybox=76:1, a whole bunch more gears and no need to regear axles
