2az-fe Highlander engine with 5 stripped head bolts

Does anyone know if a 2.4 liter aluminum block can have the head bolt holes in the block helicoiled? My dad started loosing coolant on his 2006 highlander at the head. When he pulled it down he found 5 head bolts finger tight. The threads are stripped out of the block.

not heli coil, but threaded insert like a time sert.....

heard of this on GM aluminum engines.
