255/85r16s on stock wheels

Is anyone running this size on the stock alloy 16s? Something like the Toyo M55? This size tire recommends a 7 inch wide rim, but says that it can fit on rims anywhere from 6-8 inches. Since stock is on the edge of that at 8 inches, does this tire size really work great? Or are there problems? (Maybe depending on use.)
