The Lake Tahoe Hi-Lo's will be hosting their 24th Annual Gambler's Poker Run, Saturday August 17th, 2013.
This is a fun and scenic trail located about 30 miles south of South Lake Tahoe.
Saturday morning we stage at the campground and send rigs out in small groups every 10 minutes to take highway 4 to 89 (or is it 88?) back through Markleville and up to Blue Lakes where we air down and take the Deer Valley trail south to Hermit Valley, and then over Ebbets Pass back to the campground for the provided dinner and raffle. (We will have an alternate route if the Deer Valley Closure is in affect still)

There are prizes for the the best poker hands made up from cards given to participants at the checkpoints.
Online registration is available and recommended
Check the link for safety requirements, rules and more information.

Just another shout out for the Hi-Lo's only fundraising event.

The Deer Valley trail is still closed so we linked some trails together on Monitor Pass to form what we are calling the Markleville overlook trail. The trail begins and ends about 4 miles from our Main Camp so there is no long pavement ride involved. Peeps can just air down and up at Main camp.

Hope some Mudders can make it!
