Hey Marcin,
Do they make bigger ones, like maybe a 1000 or 1500W?
I would definately be interested then.
Cheers,
Deny

Do they have 12v for that price too? I've got a BJ60 so I need the 12v. I'll be in Surrey in about 2 weeks (after a helluva drive)!

I will bring few of the inverters to teh next meeting. Brad, Bill, Greg, and Jan(ek) I will have one for you, however if you can not make it to the meeting we can get together some other time (maybe a day trip), please advise. I still have few of the 24V inverters left.

As for the 12V inverters, “cruiser_guy”, they are available almost anywhere (xs cargo, etc) and have higher power rating. It is the 24V one that is harder to find.
Connecting a 12V load (stereo) to one of the 24V system battery throws the charging system of balance (which is not perfect to begin with) and eventually kills one of the batteries. After that you have to replace both of them, for the internal resistance of the two has to be as close as possible.

On a different topic…
Can anybody who is going on a day tips and would like company post it in a thread? I think many of us would like to get away for at least one day during a weekend but just lack the initiative or the knowledge of local area.
Bills spontaneous trip to stave lake turned out great.

Marcin,

I would be interested in one.....

Would you be interested in shipping one to Edmonton???

PM me for more information....

Thanks,

Todd

YUP.... count me in for a sunny (rainy) saturday... stave lake, jones lake, clear creek - now that some of the snow should have melted..., :)

I would like to purchase one of those inverters too, Marcin.

Next cruiser meeting perhaps?
