Short Notice Alert!
We are aiming to do Whipsaw from south (Hwy3) to north (Lodestone) this weekend, Oct 3-5.
Itinerary as follows:
- Friday night: camp at Copper Creek (usual location).
- Saturday morning: meet at Hwy3/Whipsaw FSR jct at 9:30am for departure at 10am
- Sat night: camp at Wells Lake
- Sunday to Lodestone Lake, and return home that evening. We will most likely backtrack so that we can exit to Britton Creek on the Coquihalla. This is the typical route we've been doing the last few years.
We will not be leaving Vancouver until earliest 430pm on Friday, so it'll be a late arrival at Copper (save us a spot if you're there early
).
Interested parties so far include my brother Woogy (2 vehicles, 3-4 people), Sam (1v, 1p) me & Kris (2v, 2-4p).
Weather at this time of the year is a crap-shoot, but 4 different Wx sites are forecasting it to be mixed with a low chance of rain (but rain nonetheless).
This is not cross-posted on FB.
I will call the Usual Suspects (604, AMag, DHug, GBow, etc), and they can call others as fit...
