Hi there,

My valve cover seal blew, so i changed it thinking it was just it's time. I checked my PVC valve, its working. 2 days after new seal in half way up a hill "pop" goes the seal again...

the part that is blowing out is the rubber "plug" in the rear (theres on in front and rear of engine and comes with gasket kit)

Any idea's as to what this could be? I work long hours so i havent had much time to tinker. I'd like to try a few things before i drop it in a shop and pay out the ass for what could hopfully be a simple fix.

any help would be great!

What shape are your valves in?
Are your breathers plugged?

The only way that gasket's gonna blow is with internal pressure, from gasses building up.

clean out the hole on the head. Its on the passenger rear corner.......its the oil return hole if it gets even remotly plugged it will create pressure

I got an engine gasket set a few years back that came with new half moon plugs, but they were too big... They sat up 1/4 of an inch... If you are trying to force the wrong plugs in, I could see them blowing out... Have you checked your compression lately? If you have massive amounts of blow by from worn out rings, that could complicate the problem...
