This is a 1983 fj60 I bougt as a project cruiser back in November got her running fully desmogged but engine has some weird noises and could probably be fixed but I don't have time or knowledge so Im just trying to get rid of it. Thinking it might be the dizzy. Tranny and transfer are good so far as I can tell. Frame is good too all glass is unbroken. Overall a pretty clean car. Only "problem" is rear wheel wells and back cornerwith some rust. I'm trying to just get my money out with little loss after parts tool and car. I payed 2600 with all those things(parts tools and car) combined so If I can get somewhere around 2100 out of it I would be good. Would probably be able to get more out but just don't have time. Would perfer to sell car more whole then less open to offers though. My number is 7zero4 5fourfour 8one0two

Prices on Mud should be better than what you're offering the general public on CL

Don't get me wrong, I love the truck... And both prices..

I've been watching and promoting it via the classifieds here. I love the Black and Tan look on a 60, was hoping a club member would snag it.

I wasn't really thinking and just need to get it to a good home soon for somewhere around there

Definitely hoping a member would snag wanna make sure it goes to someone who will do it right even if I have to take less

I wish I had the space for another cruiser... Wouldn't mind adding a 60 to the lineup. I really like the look of it. Good luck with the sale!

@CharlestonG8R already has 4 vehicles for 2 people! LOL, I think Jeremy just has the 'Toyota rescue' g-nome. I was thinkning the same thing too - adding a -60, but I've got to wait a few years before I buy another one for my son - he's only 12 and my wife wont fall for that one again.

Good luck @TremaineK - but you should update your Mud post to reflect the same - or a slightly better price.

@ErikinSC - if u need an excuse, you can convince her it will take about four years to restore during the prime father/son bonding time to get it "safe" enough for "him" to drive it.,.

@joyRidaz beat me to it! I was just thinking the same thing - this is the perfect age for him to learn how to work on an amazing vehicle. Plus, his status as the coolest kid in school would be solidified before he even gets his driver's license!

Heck ya! Plus in four years that thing will be worth triple or quadruple this price... Seems like once cars hit 35 yrs old they start to achieve classic status... Plus u can never have too many cruisers, especially when the yearly tax bill is only a couple hundred

Wish I had room for this. Someone with space want to split parting this truck out?
