Made up my mind to make a new start
Going to California with an aching in my heart.

Registered for the Wednesday wagon run.
Lots of logistics to work out, but moving forward.
Lets get some more east coasters out there.

Good for you.

Brian and I had a blast in 2016 & 2018

Good for you! Not this year for us but it’s on the list.

Ran the ‘con many times when I lived in CA. Miss it greatly ( and the Hammers, and Hollister, and High Sierra trails….).

I’ve told my wife that it’s what I want for my 50th. Need to take several weeks off, tow out, hit Rubicon and Fordyce, take time getting back, see the sights, all that jazz. That’s a few years away still……

This has been on my list for many years. I have a new appreciation for life now, so I'm planning on making the most of it while I still can. Mark is towing his 40, but I'm driving the Lexus.
Looking forward to Fordyce as well.
Planning to meet my wife somewhere on the way back and hiking a national park or 2.

In 2018, my wife (and Quentin's girlfriend at the time) flew out and met us in Lake Tahoe after the run.

We did a lot of the National Parks on the drive back to CT.

I assume the better halfs are not going wheeling.

Yea, my wife and I are planning the same, but still working out logistics/time off.
This trip has a lot of moving parts. I really want it to work out, but we'll see. If she can't make it happen for the entire trip back from Tahoe, then I'll meet her anywhere else on the way back.
