So bigger job than I expected, but I think it came out well. Took basically two full days to do while trying to be careful.

Few issues -- the measure and cut instructions were not super accurate. I needed to spend some quality time (probably 4 hours) with a flap disc to make things fit. The frame tie in brackets had the wrong size hole. I have a die grinder and can fix the issue, but waiting to see if victory will just remake the brackets.

PSA: connect your winch ground BEFORE putting on the bumper. On the come up seal slim 9.5 I used, the ground stud is on the bottom of the winch. It was a pain to get to after everything was mounted up.

Slice off the welds on the parking sensors to remove the bracket. These then get glued into the victory bumper. I used loctite stick and seal.

Also, since we were trashing the lower grill.... I decided to cut it apart to make a fill piece. Victory doesn't provide one, and on a white car, the gap between the black bumper, white paint and chrome trim looked bad. If you had a black car you could get away without doing this. See the detail below. It has a clip but I used more stick and seal to ensure a rattle free attachment.

Sorry, the car is covered in plastic dust, I'll post some post wash pictures later.

Some post wash pictures. I ended up mounting the solenoid at a slight angle so that way I can install a remote connection at some point then I won't have to pop the hood access it.

You fit an air tank behind the grill??
How large is it?

It's the arb 1 gallon mounted to a custom bracket. I have an external air connection, mounted to the rear hitch.

On the 2022s there is more spare space behind the grill then there is air in Fabio's head

Are your parking sensors working? I installed their Strike bumper on my GX and my parking sensors are being triggered by the recovery points. After messing around with them a bunch and contacting Victory I'm still yet to come up with a solution.

I turned them off. I have a walled driveway on either side at entry and half the length. Annoying, when I get into clients cars for class I have them turn them off. They are horrible for off road or tight driveways.

Yes, I have the strike.

Mine are working. I have a 22 though and the sensor mounts are different than in the pre facelift GX. In the blitz, I noticed they stick out about 1/8" from the surface of the bumper. I wonder if yours are triggering off of the recovery point.

I have the Blitz on my 2017 and I turned my sensors off after they randomly beeped a couple of times. I haven't worried about it since as I have added a tire carrier that would always set them off in the rear, but I think you are correct about the recovery points as the invalid trigger.

My theory on it is that the ultrasonics are reflecting off of the hole in the recovery point. It's testable by just taping a flat sheet of metal there to block off the hole so there is no orthogonal surface to reflect off of. If that worked, you could slightly angle the sensor away from the recovery point to prevent it from bouncing sound off of it.

How are you liking it two months later?

Still going strong. I used Emory paper to clearance the bumper against the plastic. I also glued a couple of rubber pads into the triangular sections that are just outboard of the light bar. This has kept the grill paint from scraping off against the bumper.

I think it's a great bumper. I just wish it was designed in such a way that it just bolted on.

Looks slick. I am having mine installed in two weeks. Taking it to a local Toyota/Lexus specialist since I don't have the experience, tools, or lower back to do it myself.

Yeah, these are all fair points. If you have a 21 or 22 make sure that they cut apart the lower grill to make a fill piece. I think I have some pictures of it earlier in the thread.
