2020 Toyota Land Cruisers (Qatari specs)

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share pictures of the Qatari spec 2020 Land Cruisers.
All pictures were taken from @Hamad1two3’s Instagram account.
The main differences between the 2019 and 2020 are stripes, rims, and a few small details here and there. The biggest difference in my opinion is the air compressor (?) under the hood.

This right here is a “GXR Grand Touring”. It’s in the middle of the land cruiser trims, it has the 4.6L V8. This was a full option spec and was listed for 290,000QAR (~$80,000) before discounts.

Here’s a quick comparison between the 2019 and 2020 GXR Grand Touring models.

This is a VXR Grand Touring S, which is the second highest trim for the land cruiser. Except, it has the same features as the highest trim one. The bumpers are slightly different than those of the GXR’s, and it’s ridiculously overpriced. It costs 342,000QAR (~$93,600). However, it’s got a few significant differences from the 2019 VXR models. It gets the AHC from the LX, the drive modes from the VXS (highest trim), cooled seats (no heated ones), and 2 rear USB ports.

The new bolt on bumpers pictured (front and rear) are worse than the old factory bumpers. I am liking the red color, though.

The air compressor is for airing up and down the tires, here’s a picture:

I’m guessing it’s from the factory, I’m not sure though.

It’s a shame, because it looks quite good, but it’s also really rare.
We also get a gold-ish color.

I totally agree, however I think the best bumpers are these:

I like it . I have seen a brighter version of the red on an older 2010 or 2011 Lexus LX570.

body kit and new wheels are terrible

Agree on the wheels with all the choices of wheels they can do a lot better. I see the body kit and low hanging bumpers as a nuisance and a waste for those here in the states looking to use theirs both on and off the road. The running boards are grafted into the rockers so you'd have to spend money to purchase an earlier model rocker panels before adding sliders. As an on road hauler the 2020 version body kit blends well and agree in the Red it sure pops but what good is a Land Cruiser if you can't use it off the road and crack the low hanging body kit all to hell the min you take it off the pavement.

^^ those running boards are actually still removable, as with the current model. They are primarily secured by six bolts on the underside. Those are either 2008-2015 LX/AHC Land Cruiser side steps on the VX-R, or a new design for the others.

The air compressor is a cool feature.

A base LC here is top version u can get in Middle East. U don’t see many of those there.

Honestly now there’s no real reason to buy the “top” version of the LC, since the VXR, which is the 2nd highest trim, gets most of the same features now, save for some safety equipment, and a roof rack / spoiler.
However, the 2016-2018 VXS (highest trim), was worth getting over the VXR.
2019 and up VXR / VXS models are basically identical.

That may be the case now. We always got fully loaded since 2008.
