I really want larger wheels on my cruiser. For the size of the car the look of the OEM 18's is far too small. Will the Lexus 21" OEM wheels fit the LC?

I've got a set of 20's in classifieds .... perfect for the LC with a lift.... 21's will really limit tire options nad usefullness.

Yes. They will fit.

Wrong forum.

Don’t do it.

Agree with you. I have two sets and keep 18 during the summer when doing more outdoor stuff like riding on beach, pulling boat, etc. Winter in NC is all city driving so I have 20 which look much better per your comments.
Go 20 with slightly larger tire. You will have a rough ride on the 21. I got the LX570 13-15 wheels. Here it is picture of mine still on standard tire that came with wheels. My wheels were powder coated as original were damaged.
BTW handling on 20 is a night and day difference. Like it a lot more after last car being sports car.

If 21's are what you want, have at it. It'll absolutely fit. There's been no change to the bolt sizing/spacing/PCD, nor any changes to the hub center flange in this past model year.

As posted above, 21s are not a common sized tire. I'd take a look at what's available at a major supplier like Tire Rack before I ordered. 20s are easy to find in whatever size rubber you need.

And so what? He's obviously trying to do this to suit his own taste and style. The fact that it's not common, is probably a bonus to the OP.

There was a time when 20" was pushing the boundaries. The fact that the LX570 comes stock with 21" wheels means there's a [larger] population than us that like this sort of thing.

You can do it.

Personally I’d put 16’s on mine if they’d fit...but 17’s are the limit. More rubber the better.

But if you never intend to hit even a smallish rock...or ever need to Air way down in sand or other soft stuff...then ride on whatever suits your fancy, including 21.”

Big wheels increase unsprung weight. Add in the reduced sidewall flex, and it significantly reduces ride comfort. Also, the thinner the sidewall, the more susceptible the tire and wheel are to damage from potholes.

I own a 2017 LX 570 with 21" rims and a 2016 LC200 with 20" rims. There is not a rougher ride on the LX even with the suspension tuned to the firmest setting. There will not be a noticeably different ride between a 20" and a 21" rim. Go with what you think looks best and what you want. You don't have to scour the internet to try and find a 17" TRD rim that they don't make anymore just bc some of the dudes on here have them. Do what works best for you, its your truck.

Frankly, I thought the responses he got here were pretty encouraging.
-Try that question on an off roader's Jeep forum and see what happens. :)

Thanks for the replies guys. I appreciate the candor. Coming from a 2016 BMW X5M I miss the sportier ride with less flex in the corners. I realize apples and oranges but looking for a bit more dialed in handling with this before seeing if it can be a long termer for me. I am not into serious offroading outside of a gravel or dirt logging road. Have already removed the roof rack and running boards and just looking at possibly sizing up the wheels but hate aftermatkert so was hoping to stay somewhat in the Toyota/Lexus family with wheels. Selection is not great as you know as I do not what chrome. Thanks again.

If you are after better street handling, you might want to consider upgrading your suspension. The difference in handling even with a lower-end OME setup will be huge. If you want more adjustability and don't mind about $4K, have a look at BP-51's, Icons or Kings.

Nearly any of the major options will be an improvement over stock suspension handling.

I'd call Slee, Cruiser Outfitters or other reputable shops and tell them EXACTLY what you're after (sportier street chops...rather than off-road lift, etc.). I think you'll be amazed at the difference. No more bouncy, spongy, tippy handling (OK, to the extent you can reduce that in a hulk of a truck).

Even a modest $1100 upgrade with Old Man Emu and springs will render a nice result.

I have OEM Toyota 20” ZX blackout rims on my ride. These are Japanese spec rims.

@mswaz I'm just down the road from you in Tacoma. I have some 20" LX570 rims from our 2009. The tires on them are junk, but I'd sell to you if you're interested.

See my website at www.purdygreatlife.weebly.com/lx570 for photos.
