I cam across this video over the weekend while looking at other Land Cruiser vids and since Australia has more than the 200 series available I found this of interest and wanted to share.

2017 79 Series Land Cruiser

They look horrible.

Bull bar makes it a thousand times better that bumper bar sucks

Meanwhile every American hates you Ozzies for being able to be so picky. All of us would gladly buy one if available here!

Its not that I wouldn't buy one, I like the engine and gearbox upgrades etc. But the front has become just another flabby soft penile, generic shape that we hated in all other makes.I wouldnt be able to drive it home without pulling into the nearest ARB stockist and removing that hideous bumper and replacing it with a steel bull bar and some extra lights to hide that stupid grill.
Only Safety Sam would want to be seen driving around in that.
And they still haven't widened the rear axle to suit the 100mm they added to the front to accommodate the extra width of the V8, you know, its been 11 years now. I look at it every time I see one going down the freeway. Its like a Red Green creation.
Landcruiser 7* series styling was at its best 84-90.
I even had complements about my 73 series from old ladies at the shopping centre.
The old lady is dead now but Im sure she would have told me to man up if I was driving this to the bakery.

The front bumper looks like a shrunken Sequoia front end, odd and out of place. Given the ulta luxury nature of the 200 series which Australia gets as well, this one is a real utility vehicle and is very customizable. I can truly see why if I lived there this would be the right choice, but since I live here a LC 200 is for me. Landcruiser 70 | Still powerful, still indestructible
