Ok, so I just took my 2013 to the dealer to get the tires moved over to 2016 take off wheels. I got the wheels and center caps both from a 2016 owner.

I haven’t picked it up yet, but the dealership just called and said the caps don’t fit because they hit the hubs. Does anyone know why this may be? There should be no mechanical differences in the 2013 and 2016, and I’ve seen several others do this change as well.

I will mess with it once I pick up, but it’s the wife’s truck and I wanted to have answers before she sees it! If all else fails I guess it’s time to add some 1.25” spacers.

You will need to dremel the tabs slightly on the front wheel caps. Rear wheel caps fit fine. May as well do all 4 caps since you will eventually be doing a 4 wheel rotation.

There are a few threads on this if you search.

EDIT: there are some pictures in this thread
