I am not sure what month the club was officially formed. I got stated with Steve Smith, who started the Colorado Land Cruisers chapter, on the clubs 3rd off road run. We ran Hancock, Tomichi, and Tincup pass on July 21, of 1996. There were six cruisers who attended that day including mine. 5 FJ40's and my FJ55. I think the club was just a month or so old when I got involved.
Perhaps we should plan a Buena Vista weekend to commemorate the 20th anniversary. That sounds like some of our past annual Buena Vista weekends. I stopped working on that a couple of years ago due to lack of interest. In the past they were held in August. Maybe we should bring it back for this year?
Had to bring that up din't you. Next will be Fitzgerald post a pick on the flopped 40.That was my point
I think the last BV weekend we had as a club is when you flopped coming off Hancock Pass somewhere on the way to Alpine Tunnel.![]()
