2015 Appalachian Rendezvous

I went to this event last year, could be a good warm up for the Expo in Asheville. Was a good group of people, many different trucks, trail rides, driving school too. Camping at the Uwharrie Offroad school (Scott Fields place, nice and secure). Kayaking, canoeing, wheeling, camping. Pretty much an outdoors kind of weekend.

Man this makes for a busy September/October! Logan's Run Sep 18-20, Rendezvous Sept. 25-26, Expo Oct. 2-4 and than Black Balsam 15-18... Wonder what my schedule/budget/trucks are going to allow!

That can be a lot-full, but will try to do them all. The weather could be excellent too

I did the AAV / EXPO double last year. Completely different feel from each. I did lead the MTB ride and took some folks on a ride through URE at AAV , so I was more involved. EXPO was fun, lots of eye candy, I did not pay for the experience, so I got bored. Lots of walking the vendors and taking the free classes offered by Land Rover. I also took a road bike and did some riding on the BRP and a hike, but because they closed the camping area I was in after the rain made the "hill" to slippery, I didn't come and go as I wanted.
