Come join us as we follow the old wagon train trail up and over the coastal mountains to the gorgeous Sourdough primitive campground located at the fork of two rivers.

At the campground, one swimming hole is in river to the left and you can see another river coming in from the right. The river on the right is much warmer with another swimming hole just a little farther up.

My lady and I wanted to go but I was told the trail is so gnarly now that unless I have a truck with swamp tires and lockers there's no way for me to make it out to the campsite. Is that true??
Huh?! Nah, It's bumpy for sure and a little clearance helps. 33s+ help, but not needed. Hit me up if you want more details. We slung many stock rigs over the mcgrew to camp.

Great run! 5 people in 3 rigs from Central Oregon Cruisers showed (as a small part of the entire group). 2 80 series LCs and an FJ Cruiser. Some awesome wheeling on trail, relaxation and fun at Sourdough Camp made for a memorable experience. Mitch and Sue in an 80, Allen and Sammy in the FJ and myself in the other 80.
