2014 GX for sale

My friend selling his 2014 GX with 137K miles for , his offer to me because he does not want to sell to public , $17K.
Trade in value is 1 or 2 thousand less , I am gone to offer $15K .
Is this a good deal ???

A reference , I purchased my 8 year old 08 GX 470 with 83K miles for $16k

So many variables. Is it up to date on maintenance? Does it need tires? Any accidents? Ever smoked in? Lot of questions to ask.

Pulled a carfax , Colorado vehicle , 3 owners including current , lots of maintenance service , report looks good . Minor front end cosmetic damage reported.
Only problem , clear bra coming off , maybe leaving discolored paint , that's a problem .
At $15.500 , difficult to pass up.
I'll be keeping my 08 470 and 2018 460
