Hello everyone,

I have a 2012 Toyota Land Cruiser GXR – 4.0L V6 (GCC specifications).
I am facing an issue with the high beam headlights:

  • The blue high beam indicator light on the dashboard works fine, but the actual high beam headlights do not turn on.
  • I checked the fuses (HEAD UPR RH/LH), but there is no power reaching these fuses even when the high beam switch is activated.
  • The High Beam relay (HEAD HI relay) has constant power on two pins, but the relay does not seem to energize.
  • I replaced both the relay and the fuses, but the issue remains the same.
  • For reference, my car is GCC spec and does not have the DRL (Daytime Running Light) system, so the DRL fuse and wiring are not present in the fuse box.

It seems the problem might be related to the Body ECU (Junction Block Assembly) not providing the ground signal (HRLY) to the high beam relay coil.

Has anyone faced the exact same issue on a Land Cruiser 200 (2012 GCC spec) and found a solution?
