Send my son ran my 2009 LX 570 into some rocks this weekend and I’m going to have to replace the front bumper, grill and headlights which needed to be painted and updated anyway… has anyone ever put a 2012 or newer grill and bumper on a 2009 LX? do we know if the newer parts will match up to the existing or is this a waste of time? My body shop was not interested in doing all the research, but said if I could get confirmation they would start to tackle it.

They will but you need everything, bumper, grill, headlights. Headlights won’t be a straight swap wiring wise because the newer ones are dual bi-xenon.

Thanks have you ever done one or know of anyone that has? What's the cleanest way to get the lights wired in?
It’s not common because it’s expensive and a ton of work for arguably subjective improvements. I kept my OEM headlights and did an aftermarket HID retrofit and am very happy.
There have been folks who have done headlight retrofits on this forum over the years, you may be able to find a pin out diagram if you search.
