2012 - 2013 lc200

Been thinking of getting a new 200 early 2013, just want to know if the issues of oil consumption, tail shaft clunk, steering wheel vibrations etc have been resolved. We only get the diesel variant 4.5 V8. VDJ200.

Here are some photos of imported units from Dubai. Cannnot wait to peel off those side stickers... if I get to own one.

I have a new 2011 and don't have any clunk or steering wheel shimmy. I can't comment on the oil consumption because I only have 775 miles on it.

I've got almost 7K miles on a '13 and no oil consumption.

I have 16`000km on the clock, and never had to top up the oil.

I'm referring to oil consumption on the diesels, I think the petrols don't have this issue.

Hello! I owned a 2008 Lc200 diesel as well here in PH. I know the oil consumption issue but i found out that toyota knew that there is such problem. You can check the owners manual for this. It's just unusual that such a huge amount of oil consumption. 1liter per 1,000kms. So far, i got only 8,500kms on my unit and i really do not feel any problem. and i am not worried as well.

So the problem of oil consumption is in the manual? Would the newer models also have this in the manual?
