It didn't take long but I have my first complaint. The passenger side third row seat is rattling. Any suggestions on a fix before we take it you to the dealer?

You just got this vehicle :(

I think this condition has now been considered normal for the 200 series. If you search around, there is some talk about and what you can do.

Well that sucks. I learned to deal with it with the 100 with the straps. 100 solution: take out the seats.
Thanks
Ant

Can't lose the seats with the kids and their friends. One thing I found that made it better was the handle on the back of the seat had a magnet built into the seat and the handle. If they're not attached then they rattle. Better but still makes more noise than they should.

I still have my seats in but have never used them. But they don't rattle.

Rattles are caused by something. Find the root cause and muffle it. I don't buy that it can't be fixed. Good luck :)

Do they rattle in the down position?

I guess you could leave it in the down position folded foward?

Do you know where the vibration is coming from? The base, both sides? One side?

I can confirm the rattle from behind, on my 2011...

But it isnt a big issue for my. Not very loud.

When folded up, is the latch/striker completely engaged? Any of the "seat hook covers" loose? Is the seat-belt buckle stowed in it's hanger?

I hate rattles! Thank God my '10 LC200 has none, nor does my 5-year-old FJ Cruiser with many miles of rough off-roading.

Hope you find the cause and the fix.

Why spend any time on this? Isn't that what warranties are for? Rattles would be covered on a brand new 200. I figure I already paid the warranty embedded in the cost, use it.

Dont know the exact value - but 60 starts or so, will clear errors too - manual ;-)

mine don't rattle at all. Even over big bumps I haven't heard any rattle. Maybe they are pushed hard enough against the side. Mine will rattle if I don't push them a little hard against the sides

arich - do you have found a solution for the rattle? I will do them in down position tonight ;-)
