I recently bought a 2011 LX570 that has the OEM roof rails and cross bars. The question is: does a 2011 LX570 have all four pad locations on each side, or does it only have two pad locations per side? I.e. can I mount the aftermarket cross bars (that pick up the factory pad locations) in pad 1 and 4 on my LX570?
I think the answer is yes, but want to verify before I remove my OEM rails and cross bars.
I am wanting to install the cross bars as far apart as possible in the fwd/aft direction because I intend to haul a canoe up there and the further apart the cross bars are, the more stable it is.
