I have had the range on both of my FOBs go completely to crap and the car regularly complains "key not detected". I have replaced the batteries twice. :)

I saw something mentioned about a windshiled replaced recently was something to look at. I did have it replaced semi recently.

Can anyone shed any light? It is annoying as crap.

TIA

Any 'new' LED lights in the vehicle or garage? I had same "key not detected" msg after installing LEDs in the interior of my '14. When the lights extinguished, car started right up.

I do have LED, but this happens anytime, while driving, Parked. Lights on or off.

My 13 cruiser will do this probably 1/3 the time the key is put in the little pocket under the ashtray. Always in that spot, nowhere else (unless I take it out of the car completely).

No wireless charger.

Something is odd about this detection system..
