2011 LX570 - Jump started with wrong polarity, ABS not working, not sure what else going on.

There is one more piece of info that I forgot to mention that hopefully might help...

I was thinking it was the fuses as well, so I went and got a 50amp 56volt fuse directly from Lexus for the abs. I was hoping that I could just pop it out and everything would come back online. Well, the second I put it in, it popped and burnt out. At that point is when I called the tow truck and had it towed because if a new battery and a new fuse wasnt gonna get it going, it wasnt going to be a roadside fix.

The guys at the shop were saying that thats pointing to a short somewhere... could that be a melted wire?

And after this thread I'm leaning towards just dropping it off at the dealer unless anyone knows a good shop in the NYC/NJ area.
It’s likely a short that’s popping a fuse somewhere, and very likely a melted wire that’s grounding on something.

I would not recommend replacing that ABS pump until you get the short diagnosed, or else you run the risk of frying the new part.

The old ABS module may very well be causing the short/power overdraw, but I would want to diagnose upstream first before replacing the ABS module.

This could be verified by unplugging the ABS module and testing again. With a diagram you could check the pins at the plug for continuity to ground. I agree that if that fuse is blowing immediately, then either a device is asking for much too power or there is a shorted wire.

The main point here is that I wouldn't be doing much more troubleshooting without some documentation and proper tools.

So just wanted to update this for you guys, I'm going to bring it to another mechanic who says they have access to techstream software and knew what it was when I asked about it. Also, I might have caught a break because there is a 25% off sale on toyota parts right now:

With that sale, I'm just going to get the whole assembly but I have one question... how do I know if I have precrash or not? I dont have the radar cruise control so I dont think I have it but I dont want to order the wrong part just in case.

Also, the original mechanic said that once they removed the abs from the circuit thats when the fuses stopped popping. So there is def something wrong there but we wont know what else is wrong till that's out of the way first because they dont have access to techstream I guess.

And just went ahead and ordered the part, it should be the one for my truck, part# 47050-60321

After all the discounts got it for 931.23 with free shipping from Fred Anderson Toyota... good deal just in case you guys want to stock up on some rotors etc before those tariffs kick in.

Just wanted to post a quick update, new shop was on point and really reasonably priced, around 800 for the diagnosis + changing out the master cylinder etc.

They tested all the wires, determined nothing was grounding out and finally swapped in the new abs unit. Programmed it and the truck is running like a champ.

So if anyone needs a solid shop around the Fort Lee area in NJ, I'd recommend BCG Auto, owner's name is Effy. Looking now, they have 5 stars out of 423 reviews on google. Not LC specialists but overall a very solid shop.

I’m glad this worked out for you.

Our master cylinder system is complex enough I feel it’s just a matter of time until we start seeing these fail somewhat regularly.
