Hello from Canada guys! Here is a pic of my bone stock car for attention.. but please do read on..

I just got myself a 2011 GX460 Ultra Premium trim and I am getting "Check Sonar System" error on the dash. my vehicle is equipped with Dynamic cruise control in which uses the front sonar system to keep the distance in cruise mode from the vehicle at the front.

Despite getting the error message, I can still use the dynamic cruise control. I can even adjust the 3 levels of distance I want in the system which tells me the actual expensive component which is the sensor itself is working (Part# 8821060100) - (Url#: https://www.lexuspartsdirect.ca/p/66208510/8821060100.html)

I did however buy the car with a crack in the front emblem. I was thinking the emblem is just part of aesthetic but apparently now I am reading that this is part of the sensor as well? Has anyone deal with this? By replacing the emblem part (https://www.lexuspartsdirect.ca/.../GRILL.../8942010.html...) - Number 9 and number 11 in the diagram, would it fix the issue?

Basically what I am asking is, does anyone know if the emblem components themselves can cause an error? I took a peak and they are not physically or electronically connected to the sensor at all and they are just placed infront of the actual sensor more so like a shield but I am wondering if the emblem perhaps serves as a barrier component that can cause it to throw errors?

Just trying to figure this out one at a time. I really appreciate all your help guys! Thank you very much in advance.

Congrats on your vehicle and welcome to the forum!
I wish we, in the lower 48, had some of the options you all get up north! (like dynamic cruise control, cameras, CC and MT).
I commented on your other post regarding your dynamic cruise control sensor, but I'm just spit-wadding with that thought.
Hope it's an easy and cheap fix!
