For anyone who has never attended Cruise Moab... an absolute GREAT event, and a must do for anyone.

We're back at Slickrock Campground this year. Area BFE was a big success, but we had to bring in all the facilities. Tons of work. So we're going back to Slickrock Campground for some fun and relaxation.

Cm overnighters

This year there are two overnight trips offered at Cruise Moab San Rafeal Swell and Kokopelli Trail. I have signed up for the SRS trip and wondered who else will be there.

I am actively planning an early-bird run a few days prior to CM like was done last year. Probably meet up Friday and run until Tuesday when we will meet for the official overnighter. Any takers?

I was going to register for the Kokopelli run, but when I signed up (6 hours into registration) it showed full...I've got a couple folks thinking of an early 'few day' run thru there to explore and wheel, including camping at the Top of the World

may run it the week after with the RZR too

I would LOVE to be there with my 80, but it also happens to be what is one of the busiest time of year.

That said, I would still try to make it at least for some of it, if not go out with folks that will either be there before or after CM.

I have a feeling that I better get myself registered soon or I may not be able to get a spot at all...

I'm new to CM, so how does it work? I'm signed up for SRS overnight. Should I expect directions to SRS via this link or do I need to get checked out @ Slick Rock where I will be given directions to SRS? Also, do you confirm the runs I will be on or is it all given to me @ registration? Let me know ASAP please.

You should have recd an email from Kurt Williams confirming you on the run and info on how to get there, etc. You do not need to go to Moab prior to the Overnighter. Most folks will arrive Tuesday PM and spend 2 nights there. It is the best part of CM.

San Rafeal Swell April 20-25

I was off a whole week when I announced my plans for this trip. I am unable to edit the dates in the title, so the following is the revision:

Thursday April 28 I will be heading up to the Wedge Overlook to set up my camp and I will be there in the Overlook Campground until Tuesday AM May 3 when I will then be heading over to Lone Warrior to camp with those doing the Cruise Moab Overnighter (must already be registered). Of course that is all weather dependent as if it turns really crappy I will probably not stay at the Overlook. I doubt I will have cell service up there but just in case my cell is 270-217-3935. I will have small plastic arrows with "ACES CAMP" on them indicating turns to my camp, but only from the big sign at the entrance to the Overlook.

Though I have no specific agenda I expect to be doing day trips from camp to explore some of the SRS area I have not yet seen (a lot). Be good if some others could join any time up to Tuesday AM. Please bring some firewood.

I probably wont have access to the web so questions posted here will not be seen for some time, but the Wedge Overlook CG is show on most maps and well signed on the roads coming into the Swell.

Did you not get an email from me? We sent out emails to the address on your registration form, we only have a couple of people that have not confirmed I'm guess your one of them. What is your name and what is a good email to send the SR Swell info too? (PM if you would like). I'm around during the day tomorrow and then out of town for the weekend but would love to get you the information beforehand. Thanks!
