This Land Cruiser resided in west Texas until February 2022, when I flew down to drive it home to Montana. It was entirely dealer maintained and serviced at Street Toyota in Amarillo. It has since had two oil changes at Wilder Toyota in Port Angeles, WA on separate trips. The 2010 model was the first to get the USB/AUX Port and full rear factory tinted windows. This one comes with original third row seats, console cooler, two key fobs with remote start, and the importer-added fender flares. New tires got added in March. The windshield has a couple highway rock stars and the paint in front has some small paint chips from highway gravel, otherwise this 200 is clean inside and out. This rig is the smoothest, quietest vehicle I've driven in my 45 years of driving. The combination of power, transmission, and off-road prowess makes the 200 an awesome machine.
Price is now $33,000. When I first placed this ad, price was $37,500 and mileage was 133K. Selling because my wife decided she wants/needs a beige interior. We're open to trade for an LC with white exterior / beige interior.

Nice rig. Are those fender flares add on aftermarket or OEM? Never seen a 200 with flares. Can they be removed easily?
My understanding is that Gulf States importer put fender flares on a lot of these rigs before delivery to dealerships in Texas and the southeast. They are available aftermarket, they're paintable, and they can be easily removed with a phillips screwdriver and dental floss. I was hesitant about them at first but now I like em.

Here's a pic of one from Georgia . . .

I've put about 500 miles on since placing the ad. Price lowered to $38k.

Nice...just about 10 months too early for my search! GLWS!!

This truck also comes with remote start via the Toyota key fob. I don't know if this was standard equipment.

I've driven an additional 500 Montana highway miles on this rig, including an amazing trip through Yellowstone National Park over the weekend. It now has a little over 136,600 miles on it, still runs great and looks clean. This one has the cooler in the console, by the way.

Make me an offer.

Interested. PM sent.

Just sent you a PM
I purchased this truck in late February in Amarillo, Texas where it was dealer serviced at Street Toyota its entire life. After driving it home and putting new tires on, my wife decided that she strongly prefers a lighter interior color (like the beige in our 100 Series). This vehicle is in excellent condition inside and out. I've driven it from Texas to Montana, then to Western Washington and back, and then to Salt Lake and back; it runs like a champ, shifts smooth as butter. Comes with third row seats. It could use a new windshield but this isn't urgent.
Price is 38,000. Will consider trade for a 200 with beige interior. I'll be happy to drive to wherever you are, somewhat dependent on timing.

To clarify the trade option, we prefer a Land Cruiser with beige interior rather than an LX570.

Upcoming three-day weekend special, will sell for 37K. Thorough dealer service and maintenance records, including 5000 mile interval Mobil 1 synthetic oil changes, available from Carfax or Street Toyota in Amarillo. This truck is less than 13 years old with no dents dings or rust. It has a few rock chips in front bumper and windshield and surface scrapes in the hood bra sticker. Comes with importer-installed paint-able removable low profile fender flares. No longer interested in a trade -- we decided to keep the 100 Series and T100.

Trying to talk the wife into letting her 4Runner go for this... She's done nothing but miss our old 200 series, so hope I can convince her on yours ;-) I'll reach out via PM if we can make something happen - I'm not too far away in WY.

Sounds good, thanks for your interest. You could remind your wife that there is not a passenger vehicle built or overbuilt (safe) like a Land Cruiser and they're no longer being built. If she likes the colors, I'm confident she will love this truck. Just let me know if you two have any questions.

We've continued to choose this truck for highway driving, it's too smooth and quiet to resist. Thus the odometer climbs.
And now I'm getting ready to pick up a local 06 Tundra with low miles. Four trucks is too many. Present me with a genuine sensible offer!

Of the folks who have expressed interest thus far, only one has called and he expected me to cover delivery costs to North Carolina. No potential buyers have even seen this rig in person yet. I sold our LX470 and a 1993 here to happy buyers within a week or two. So what's the story? Priced high? Lousy time to sell a 200? Whaddya think? I'd like to get this sold.

because you asked, I've looked at the pics a few times, here and on craigslist. my thought was it was somewhat high on price from where you started.
this is just my opinion, $32,000-33,000 would be closer and sell in that range

high gas price? not a huge concern with me
remote area of the country? not a big deal either
people worried about what is going to happen in the next 6 months? maybe?

Thanks for the response. Maybe I paid too much in February at 38.5; seemed like a fair deal based on what I had seen to that point for such a clean truck with excellent history.

The market has changed quite a bit since February, from what I've seen across multiple platforms, those that really saw substantial increases in price have begun to come back down a bit. Though watching BaT auctions, you'd hardly notice!

This realization (that the market has fundamentally changed) will slowly start to set in. Prices on the commoner's vehicles, such as this one, will feel the price depression first. High priced collectable types (like BaT) will follow. Inflation on top of some FOMO/Instagram/Supply chain driven price increases are brutal.

I bought my 09 LX570 with beige interior and 103k miles in fall 2021 at $30k knowing that I'll likely never see the premium back that I paid over a "normal price" (around 22k-25k, likely).

But at least you're using it to recoup/offset some of that potential depreciation.

Good point, we're still enjoying this truck immensely even though she still wants a different interior color. I love this thing for long distance travel as I get no driver fatigue. It's amazing how such a comfortable and quiet truck can also be so brawly. The new price is 35k. It has just over 139K miles. The truck and my wife and I are now in WA.
