please, everybody call him. tell him i sent ya! :grinpimp:

Yes, they are having a wider gate built at this time and are also putting in a bridge and/or culvert system at the creek. This phas been slowed down due to all the recent rain over the past month. Yes your trailer would drag. I drug my 18' bumper pull and it sounds awful dragging on the concrete.

If it doesn't get put in in time for the Round-Up it will be the only park in Texas with a class 2 trail just to get to the concession stand.:grinpimp:

James

How's the bridge coming? I've got to get "Shamu" across that creek. Line up the lawnchairs, it might be a show.

Jester,

I do not know if they have made a final decision between the bridge or the culvert system to get across the creek. They were in heavy debate when I left last Saturday evening and I have not talked to Randy or Shain this week. We will be down there this weekend so I will get more info and hopefully remember to take my camera and get some pics from out on the rocks. There is a small camping area before you cross the creek right as you come in so they will be able to get you parked somewhere regardless. You'll just be known as " one of those guys that parks on that side of the creek".:D:D:D:D

They are having a work/wheel weekend this coming weekend to put the trusses up over the pavilion and to break in the trails.

James

From what I understand the bridge is done and we are working on the pavilion this weekend. So far the weather forcast look great...ain't no reason not to be there, oh yeah...landowner says no dogs, so make arrangements accordingly...not our rule, landowner's

Marlin told me at the Jamboree that he was coming. He still hasn't decided if he will fly or drive.
Of course, Butch has probably talked to Marlin since I have......
;-)

We went ahead and put in the low water culvert crossing for now. Bridge taking too long to be ready for this event. The crossing is in and looks great . We will be putting in a Nice gravel road from the entrance to the office area in the morning. so access to the main camp ground will be good for everybody. Oh yea entrance is done. Worked this morning on the pavillion and got some of the stuff done that we were going to do the weekend. Started digging the ditch for the electricty this afternoon and the whole ass end of the ditcher broke off so just got in from putting it back together. For some dam reason it has to be 47 inches deep. But hopefully will get that done in the morning. Then, Move the office trailer in and be ready to register everyone.
Bad news is, missed having the crossing ready for the cement guys to pour this morning so we have to get reschedualed again. I just don't think they will be completed for this event. We will rig up a makeshift Redneck shower if we don't get it done . I don't think the cabins will be there either so if you were holding out for one I am sorry. I still think we could have pulled off the perfect world had the rain not kicked us almost for a month.
Good new is everything else Rocks. This place is awesome and I can't wait to show it to you guys. I am so happy that some of you can come down and be part of getting it ready, you will be proud you did.
But, most of all, I am looking foward to seeing some friendly faces that I havn't seen in a year.

party crashers

Alright, i have my proverbial hat in hand. Some guys from west Texas would like to come out and wheel with yall at the new Katemcy. We are not Landcruiser owners, but I used to have one:). Right now I have just two vehicles and 5 people that are interested in coming. Are we welcome?

I have a 38ft motorhome will it make it through the new culvert system?

I would be willing to bring something for the raffle.

Let me know,
Judd
