There is a spot on the registration to join. So if you were planning on going to the FG you can pay the $25 fee which woudl cover you for the 2010-11 season.

Is there a drop dead date for signing up? I'm thinking probably trail 3 and 4. Are they real popular?

Yes, not sure if I'll have the Troopy ready but my backup is the 42.
Registration is going out in today's mail. This will be my first FG and really looking forward to it.
I figured you guys would have it covered, but I just wanted to make sure that I didn't have to pay to join in '09-'10 just to register (not that I wouldn't want to, but there is so little left to the year), and then again for the '10-'11 season to do the run.
Thanks. I am trying to clear my schedule.

Any place I can find info on Gretchen's? My wife is considering tagging along if I bring the 45 as a test of sorts for our Baja trip planned for this winter. I'm looking for info on the area, campground, photos, etc.

Gretchen's is not an official campground (anymore). It's private property she rents out to a few groups a year, including us.
There are toilets, sinks and showers, all pretty rough, and that will be exasperated by the drought this year.
That's it, no playgrounds or anything. It's basically a huge field, ringed with campsites, no power or water on those with a few exceptions. Her back mountain is now full of excellent trails cut by the NEA.

I've only got 15 or so registrations in so far. Looks like this is going to be one small gathering this year. Only one month left before the event.

That will be part of Trail 1 and it's called "The Swedish Mile." Don't ask me why though, because I don't know "why," I just know it is
Note: Re. Trails 1 & 2... Planning to "mix it up" a little this year. If you've run Trail 1 or Trail 2 during the last few FGs you'll see some familiar, as well as some new trails.
