Just picked up a 2010 Crew Max today. Options are the six passenger seating with running boards and tonneau cover. Color Black.
Pics to come. Family loves it.

Good luck with the new truck. SR5 or Limited? Went to the Crewmax from a '03 100. Except for the fit and finish differences, it is a great ride. It's really a 200 Series with a box, right? Brendon

The ride is very comfy. Storage everywhere. My family of 6 likes it alot. AFAIK- SR5, didn't really check on that. Another cool feature is the rear window-which rolls down.
Looked at the standard double cab, :meh:. Not as nice as the crew.

Radios, tail gate latches and chrome bumpers are the common issues that I've had. Toyota is generally pretty good about fixing them, but the dealers aren't always. Call Toyota USA if you get any grief.

Check your bumpers every spring, especially on the wings in the rear and around the fog light holes in the front. Any rust at all they should replace it with zero hassles.

My driver's seat ripped at the seam at about 30K too. Good seat covers might have helped.

In all I'm happy I leased.

So far- I like it alot. Course it leaves me cruiser-less, but that will change soon.
Here are some pics I took today.

Limiteds have leather and center console. Black looks sexy! I like it! Congrats.

I take it you're turning yours back in gumby?

Just returned from South Dakota for a family spring break. The Tundra performed fantastic. Very comfy for putting on 2k miles on the total trip. One bonus is the MANY bottle holders for the kids and us. Also spotted a fj40 on highway 16 , IIRC painted yellow and white with blue flames on the hood. May have seen that one on fleebay.

All in all I would recommend the crewmax for a family of 6 or less.

two more weeks.

Love the truck. Hate the payments. I've thought about getting a tundra grade reg cab, but we'll see how the Dodge does for a while first.

you go through trucks like a chick and hair styles.........................

No doubt about that. From 6 rigs, down to two. Call it a "purging."
Also wanted to know if anyone has a bug guard on a crew max as well as what kind of bed liner(spray on type) people have used.
Or just the rubber mat.

I have a Tundra rubber mat. I like it a lot. I meant to spray liner the sides and wheel wells. The mat keeps stuff from sliding around.

In fact, theres no reason for Toyota to get my mat when I turn the truck in on the 20th. :hhmm:

:hhmm: I would be game for that. It is a crew max correct? My old man has a double cab limited. He did rhino liner in that. Nice. Not too sure if that or line-x is better. Also know some who do the bedliner and the mat. Let me know on that mat.

It won't fit in my Dodge. I have no reason to give it to Toyota. It is a CM. 5'6 bed. Got a way to get it from Chicago?

Phil has a vacation home/trailer 5 min. from my house. I will pm him.
Pending on where you are at, I could just come and get it.

Naperville. Not too close to WI.

Did some pm's with Phil. He will be the carrier.
. Any thoughts on the bug guard, etc.

I got line-x'd paid for by dealer. It's fine and really hard. The only problem I have is everything slides around. My cooler goes everywhere hitting sides of bed wheni have it in there. I got a couple bungees to keep that from happening. The only thing is I wish I requested to have the plastic caps removed and line-x the bed rails too.

I don't know if line-x or rhino is better. I have heard Line-x is harder. I know my line-x looks better than my father in laws rhino on his 01 f-250. Not because his is older and more used but it just doesn't look the same quality. Couldve been the person that put the rhino on for him though. Another thing is they went outta business, maybe they were passing off a different brand for rhino?

If you get line-x get the color matched, and get line-x x-tra. It help keep it from bleaching/fading in the sun.

I appreciate the input. Prolly line-x with gumbys mat. I do like the roll up tonneau cover alot. Can still put my 4 wheeler back there...

It's not a 40, but definetly a Cruiser under the skin.
