Yup, that's what I'm saying. I haven't had time to diagnose the issue (began a month or so ago) but suspect it's the sending unit, as it's affecting both the fuel gauge and the computer.
so little bit of an update but no really.... soo when I started this post I was in the middle of swapping an engine in the truck. Therefore I was obviously not driving it, long story short I buttoned up everything on the truck abs got it running again. I believe I had around 1/2 tank when I got the engine back in abs running. I wasnt paying much attention to fuel or mileage. Then my low fuel light came one. I reset the trip odometer and only went 3.5 mile until I decided to fill up for the week. This is where things get interesting. Mind you needle is at empty, lowgas lights on. I start pumping, then walk around the truck to talk to the wife. I hear the pump stop, go back look $25 and only 12.7 gals. I try to pump morebut maybe got .5 gal and felt it was very full. Get back in and the needle is just barely Below the full mark. Maybe I’m having a similar issue as you.
