OK, so if you are interested PM me, Have interest so far for a couple of hooded sweatshirts and 2-3 t's, last call....

Kief, a word of advice: Make sure that those who want one actually pony up the cash before you order.

People are great to say they want one but not everyone comes through with the cash and then you're left holding the bag if they have not pre-paid.

thanks charles, I am not sticking my neck out on this one. A few folks expressed some interest. No sweat on my part.

You say that like you are speaking from experience ;).

Yup, Yup. We had so much fun the camera never came out. Was really cool to meet the Easterners- Sean and the girls and unofficially Kevin R. who probably only spent 8 hours @ camp.
I heard a lot about Scott's Jeep on the way out.. I'm OK with that.. I really enjoyed seeing all the kids have fun and thanks to big Zack for helping find and smash the wasps.

We kind of blasted out of camp to beat the crowd and then realized when we were a couple miles out that we didn't say goodbye to you guys. :frown:

It was great meeting you and your family.

We had a great time, we were made to feel at home even though we were 3000 miles away!

Woah, wait a minute...Yoop had the Michigan plates? I talked to you a bit but didn't realize who you were then! Things would have gotten much more candid that night!!! :D

Yeah that was me. Good to meet you!

Reminds me of the time I met Junk. He introduced himself using his real name, I didn't know it was him until I got back home.

McGrew Trail map

I am looking for a detailed map of the Mcgrew Trail. Haven't had any luck online. If you have a good map, please post it or send me a copy. My email is assembly@nwtec.com.

Hey Tom, I'll email you some GPS stuff I've gathered and tracked. I have various formats.

EDIT: email sent, can't find my clean track version, but sent you a zip full of most the info.

McGrew Trail map

I downloaded the kmz files into google earth as you suggested and was able to trace the entire route (McGrew Trail). Now I can look at my fire road map and know exactly where to go. Thank you very much.
Mary and I did some exploring this afternoon in the Patrick Creek area. Tried to make it to the Holiday Mine but it has been blocked off. There are a few other roads here and there that lead to other diggings and or to nowhere that we will explore more after the fire season is over. Dry as a bone all over up there. We did discover that forest service road 18N56 from Patrick Creek has been extended and now runs into 19N01 coming from 4402 not too far from the road to Cedar Springs. The terrain changes from lush forest to Knarly barren and rocky with twisted wind blown pine and back again within a short distance. There are also some spur roads there I would like to check out. Walked a ways on two of the roads going to diggings and they were a challenge on foot. Very rocky in places, some over growth with some snag from the Bisquet fire. Could be fun. :steer:

That's my backyard. I'm interested in making the run with you guys this year. Sour-dough campground is one of my favorites. It's well worth the trip!
