I went to this event last year. It was a lot of fun. I was told Texas would be warm and it snowed :) . I guess January is January no matter how far south you go. If you are close, I'd definitely try to go. It may have had the biggest raffle of any TLCA event I've ever attended and with the smaller crowd your odds are good of winning something. Even if you didn't win anything in the raffle the vendors made sure you didn't go home empty handed. I would especially recommend this event for someone who is just getting their feet wet in 4wheeling. The folks are very kind and willing to lend a hand in making sure you understand how your rig works and what it takes to get you down the trail and back. Two thumbs up!

Woody,

This is the first ive heard about any problems. To narrow down the problem, can you describe whats happening? Are you getting an error? Or is it just not submitting.. or?

What browser are you using?

Sorry you are having difficulties. We had quite a few people during thanksgiving that registered, so I know it works for some, but there might be a lingering problem I dont know about.

Thanks for letting us know.

Does anyone have GPS location of OLD CAMP to help with my afterdark arrival?

I ain't got none of that GPS-type stuff ... but if'n nobody posts 'em up for ya, then just follow the main road in past the office to the RV area on your left and look for the Hemi-Green Peterbilt ... I'll lead ya down there sir.

The signposts givin' directions along the way down to Old Camp are good ... but some of The White Trash have got lost in the dark tryin' to find it ... in fact, some of The White Trash can't even find it in the daylight.:grinpimp::rolleyes:

From Oakey @ TMTC: Here is a copy of the map that has been finished so far... everyone may view it, print it and download the waypoints of the labeled trails so far..map: http://www.oakey.net/FTP/BMRA_2.kml - Google Maps

TMTC

If those links doesn't work, just follow the main road down. There are two forks marked with east/west signs and a bunch of trail names, go west at the first sign, and go east at the second sign. Right before the road starts to descend sharply is an open area where you will park your tow rigs & trailer and off-load your truck (if applicable).

Follow the road downhill about 40 yards and you'll see a sign on the right pointing down to Old Camp... it's down in a hollar.

Thank you both. Next I need to know exact Location of the SHINER truck. Want to make sure we are within stumbling distance.

'lil trailer bearings: packed
lights: working
brakes: overrated

FJ40: running and functional
new beadlocks: deliver Tues
new tires: in St Louis, grab enroute

beer: in ARB fridge
Gentleman Jack: fresh bottle

hhmm...gear....on Sunday's list....

Should be hitting the road on Wednesday, might be picking up a Clutchee enroute...will arrive in plenty of time for daylight
