Will a 2016+ factory rear bumper fit a 2008? Are the reflectors the only difference?

Yes the reflectors are different.
It depend on what manufacture the bumper is.
The 16+ have small reflectors "and" the quarter panel skins on the pre 16 stick out further. it has a different shape.
Now pre 16+ skins fit 16+ and 16+ skins fit pre 16.
I know this as I put a 15 bumper on my 16 and bought a skin from a 15 to fit it.
