The vehicle was involved in an accident but was professionally repaired. We actually went back 5 times for super small nit picky stuff (a couple of them big, like a missing door seal) to ensure it was done perfectly and EXACTLY "not close" to how it was before. There is also a lifetime warranty on the repairs and Gerber is a national auto body company.

Back For Sale

As the OM617 FJ43 gets wrapped up and the wife made more room for hopefully future kids we we will have no need for the Mercedes. Back up for sale. In Portland Oregon right now as the wife shipped it back while I was deployed.

Will consider towing back to Savannah or any place along that route if paid in full. Otherwise we are going to leave it in Oregon until it sells. Trip back home will be on Aug 1st.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Did the accident simply involve cosmetic issues or was it structural?
Thanks...

Going on a U-haul Trailer and from Portland to Savannah GA day after tomorrow. Save me a ton in fuel and rental fees and pick it up today :steer:. That and I'm not keen on my wife towing something for 3100 miles.

Still throw a "pending" boost code every now and then, mostly if I don't let it warm up a little first. New thrust sensor didn't fix it, I have a new MAF sensor but have been too lazy to replace it as the code doesn't happen often. I added an Ultra Gauge so I can re-set the code on the fly. I'll be adding the Westabo controller this fall if I can get it and the right core at a decent price. Alignment was done by the dealer and no problems since, and found where the oil leak was from also, not the valve cover gasket, but where the seam is on the valve cover blocks right below the valve cover. A little high temp RTV and problem solved. :grinpimp:

Glad to hear it...that thing was a blast though a pain in my ass while getting it all rebuilt. Maybe I'll see you at Logans Run, it did well there last year.

It is in Savannah now by the way if anyone wants it.

Less than a month before I make it back. Someone buy me so I am forced to run/ride my bike to work and stay in shape. It is going to be Beer VS Jason and based on history the beer has the upper hand right now.

Ok the wife is no longer in charge of selling her car. I'm pretty sure she has been sabotaging this thing while I was deployed because she loves it and doesn't want to get rid of it. But now I'm in charge and taking over her auto trader ad talking to the prospectives and even currently daily driving the car.

Current updated ad is now at $19,900. I am itching BAD to get my OM617 rebuilt and the FJ43 done and over here with me. Thinking I may just be able to get it done before Christmas if this thing sells.

It is up to 85.5K on the odo now and other than that in great shape.
