taco brake line over extended with the fab tech lift. apparently it's common on that lift. maybe they need to make longer brake lines with the kit. Ya the gas was BAD! at one of the stations we stopped at.. I was the first to get effected by it. but the Bronco took the really hard hit and brought him to a stop. he also had a clogged air cleaner. so a combo of both. it only effected me on steep inclines it would lose power for a second and then run fine. Once we changed fuels everyone seemed to be fine. The bronco also changed the fuel filter but that didnt help. probably just watered down gas.

Great trip!!!

Care to share where that Pacific beach was?

BTW...I really dig your site! The white-fender fad is really popular here in San Diego. Seems like a good group of friends to travel with.

I had actually just got done doing 1000 miles down in Baja. 8 days total of prerunning the peninsula. (http://nowhitefenders.com for the proof) Drove the truck back home. Then 80 miles round trip from work and back the next 5 days. Then headed out to the tinbenders Jambo the next weekend and drove it back home. Testiment to a well built truck. We had nearly every conceivable break down imaginable happen in our group down in Baja and the good old yota pulled it all off with only an exhaust leak..
