2006 GX470 Nav Night Mode

We just bought a very nice 2006 GX. I'll take some time to post a picture this weekend. I've enjoyed reading everyone's posts thus far.

One question, how do I get the navigation screen to change into night mode? I've tried using the interior light dial, but that doesn't work. There is surely a setting somewhere, but I can't find it. Can anyone help?

Congrats on your new GX!

The illumination dial when put all the way up changes the speedo cluster and navi screen from night mode to day time mode IE: bright.

Try this. With the lights on, press the display button. If the day button is lit up green, touch it and it will go into night mode.

Perfect! It worked. Thank you very much. I had my headlights on "Auto" and was in the garage. The lights were not on while in auto mode. Once I turned the switch to "On" the Daytime option appeared.
