probably will not do the hardcore run this time. I do have sliders and that factory rear e-locker. I've ordered a beefy bumper and am planning on ordering beffeier skids (than factory) this week.
Looks like there might be a moderate run as well.

:D

Less than a month away if you're interested!!! :bounce:

Hey MB, here is a nice Map that John got on the site.

Looks like an excellent group this year!!!

There will be SNLC people there. Along with the Trail team and porta potties ;)

Camping is fairly loose. If you want to be in the thick of things camp at the creek, if not, camp at the horse corral just down from the creek. They are both hard to miss..

Alvin - when are you driving up?

Also, looks like I'm doing "moderate" runs - my bumper/winch are not slated to arrive in time, skids are to the wire, and without the extra weight, I'm holding off on the suspension install:mad: .

Heading out 0-dark thirty from Tucson. I want to be in the campgroud with at least a couple hours to spare before dark. I'm thinking of leaving here by 5am. With stops and such that should put me in Vegas by 1pm then it's about 1-2 hrs to the campground.
Do you wanna caravan? I think I should be hitting the Carefree turnoff around 7am.

Not sure what kind of trails I'm up for yet. Having the 4yr old with me, I want her to be happy. Spending 4hrs driving over 1/4 mile of boulders might bore her. I may take the moderate trail as well. I'll decide after I hear what the trails are like.

Do the moderate stuff. It will still be a lot of fun and you won't have to worry about the little ones ;)

All fluids topped up, driveshafts greased, bolts all tight, outside washed, inside vacum, windshield clean, most of the camping gear already loaded, spare parts, tools, fluids loaded, groceries bought, bags of ice in the deep-freezer. :bounce:

Excitement level is high!!

I'm in a scramble - Just spoke to Bud from Bud Built and he is 2nd Day shipping my Skids - hope to install Wednesday nite before I leave. We will depart about 09:00 Thursday and take 10 to the 303 to the 60. May see you on the road...

Blues Dawg and MaddBaggins it was good to meet you guys.

Had a blast on the trail.

Just got home a few hours ago. What a cool trip! Thanks to SNLC and the FJ Cruiser trail teams for an awesome weekend.
