2006 - 0 to 60 mph

We just finally got past the 1,000 mile "break in" period on our 2006 LX. I don't have any means of telling you how quick it is from 0-60 but I can tell you that it's quite a bit faster than the 2005 we drove extensively while trying to decide whether an LX was right for us or not.

It's still no race car but it's got plenty of torque and a nice pull towards redline and it sounds like an angry beast when you stomp on it!

I don't think I could come up with an accurate 0-60 time. However, I can tell you that it feels about the same as the LR3 and Land Rover says it goes 0-60 in 8 seconds. My initial impression of the LC was that it was not quite as quick as the LR3, but really really close. And it has a smoother transmission. What ever the numbers, I have never once felt like I needed more out of it. It's great.

hey i can also say i am not sure if its 8 sec but it is much faster then my 99 the engine revs and shifts a lot more ( i think my 99 was a 3spd auto) anyway i still wish i had my 99 back i freeking passenger window does not go down now this one has lots of problems but as much as i complain back when we had the 18 inches of snow i had to go to work twice the first time i made 1st tracks almost the entire way and no problems at all. i am still just upset at paying 70k for a vehicle with minor problems my 99 had 80k miles and nothing broke except the cd player once.
