The guys at tacomaworld seems to like these well enough to have done group buys.
Search here reveals nothing.
trdparts4u, a nice vendor here, does a nice deal on them.

if they work/flex/hold up, their 2" lift is a nice savings over the OME kit.

anyone here have direct experience pros or cons?

my truck is a 2005 access cab 4x4

They must have recently entered the Tacoma suspension market. A few years ago when I had my truck, they were not a player.

I had toyed with the idea of lifting the 05 double cab I had when I was thinking of selling my FJ40. But there seemed to be an overwhelming number of people with mild lifts in the 2-3 inch range that had all kinds of vibration issues. Not what I wanted to deal with on my winter DD. I think it was the bearings in the ends of the front diff that were the issue. They didn't like the extra stress from the driveline angles.

I really like mine. If you were close I would be more than happy to let you drive my truck. I think a lot of people vibration issues come from tires. After my new tires went in I had vibes. Took them back and it turns out the tire tech did not use the hub centric adapter when he balanced the tires. Rebalanced and now no shakes. I also think these trucks are prone to vibrations. I you look there are thread with stock trucks having issues.

Peter from ACC was one of the guinea pigs for the Iron Man Tacoma lifts. I think he was the first in the US. He loves his.

We installed the first set in the US as well as a couple of sets recently. Great product at a great price.

Give us a call at the shop and we will get you sorted out.

I'm not the committed speed wrench I used to be, so it may take me some time to get to this.

Also: I want to re-finish the frame while I do this, as what's left on mine isn't great, and surface rust has already started.
I've read horror stories of frame failures due to rust/corrosion and I want no truck with that mess.
