I am looking to sell my 2005 Toyota 4Runner with just over 160,000 miles. Asking price is $12,500. It is a V8, Limited, 4WD with navigation. It is in good condition with better-than-average wear for a vehicle with 160,000 miles on it. I have owned it for 5 years and have had no issues with it. Other than having slightly larger-than-stock tires, everything is stock.
The manifold has a crack, which causes a ticking sound with acceleration. This seems to be common for the 4.7 liter V8. But there is no exhaust leaking into the cabin. The left front axle should be replaced at some point in the relatively near future because it leaks a little grease. I have never seen any evidence on the ground. But it can be seen on the axle itself. It does not click or have any effect on driving at this time. No other leaks of any kind. Just replaced the front brake pads. No rust that I have been able to find.
There are some dings on the rear bumper from other people... well, bumping into me. Nothing big. The windshield has a couple of chips in it. But no cracks. Normal dents and dings for a 2005.
This is a great vehicle. I am not in a big hurry to sell it (actually - I am having a hard time letting go). But I am looking to get something different just for fun.
