Guys,
The place where you insert a 7-pin connector on the factory towing set-up on my '04 has lost the little plastic cover and some of the pins have corroded/broken off so it no longer functions. I stopped by the dealer last weekend and they couldn't find the part number for this part of the wiring harness (but to be fair it was Sunday and I don't think the parts A-team was on duty). Anyway, I researched it and found the equivalent p/n for a Taco (82169-04010) but can't find the one for the '04 100. Here is a pic to show what I'm looking for. Anyone source one of these lately? Cheers to anyone who can share the p/n with me. Also, while I was under there, I noticed that the access cover in the front skid plate (aka engine under cover) that you remove to get to the oil filter is missing. Looking at the parts diagrams, I can't tell if it is available separately. Do anyone know/have a p/n? I assume mine is under a work bench at some dealership that changed the oil sometime between 2004 and now...

All set. The trailer hitch wiring harness was 82177-60010. The oil filter cover (seal, engine under) was 51456-60060. Both were quick simple installations. No more broken or missing parts for now!

Awesome. I subscribed hoping the trailer wiring harness part number would be found. The door on mine broke. Thanks for sharing the info!

Ugh, having a hard time finding the part number for my 05, smashed it at HIH7. Is the part number the same as an 04. Also if it is, does anybody have a good source for one, looks like dealer price is around $200, ouch! Note to all, if you go out wheeling, move the harness up and out of the way, it hangs way too low.

Believe I read someone put a newer Tundra adapter/plug in, which gives you both 4 pin and 7 pin connector. Huge plus!

Probably easier to find Tundra's in the salvage yard as well :)

Thanks @planomateo, ill look into that, was hoping someone putting a new rear bumper on had a spare.
