We're selling our expedition built '04 LX 470.

Clean car fax, Galactic Gray Mica, no rust, runs great, 178K miles, $35K (OBO).

This LX was built specifically to replace our expo 80. After using the 80 for several years we decided to relegate that to trail duty and build something more stable and comfortable at highway speeds, while still maintaining excellent off road performance.

We've really enjoyed the rig and being our second 100 it was great upgrading to the 5 speed from the 4 speed in our '01.

As we're in the process of building an Expedition Tundra (4WC Hawk on a Norweld aluminum flatbed, etc...) the 100 needs a new home. It will also be listed on the Expedition Portal and if necessary go to Ebay, I'm running out of shade and won't let it live outside.

The truck has performed flawlessly since we've owned it. It has been across the AZ Strip, the Camino Del Diablo, and recently did a 6K mile cross country trip (didn't use a drop of oil).

History:

I bought the truck from Cos4X4 (2nd owner), here on Mud, in late May of 2014.

No gears with the lockers?

No regearing, just the lockers.

My original plan was to drop to 4.88s. However after driving it for about 2 years I was so happy with the with the 5 speed and 295/75 combo I didn't want to change anything. In fact the first time my wife drove the '04 (on 295s) she couldn't believe it wasn't a significantly more powerful motor than was in our '01 (on 285s).

It smoothly cruises over 80 on the highway, and is never wanting for power around town.

Off road in technical stuff it's great. Especially manually shifting in low range with 2nd start engaged (of course).

I also air down whenever off road thus slightly reducing the tire diameter and significantly enhancing ride quality, lots of sidewall flex with a 295/75 on a 16" wheel.

Thanks!

New Toy,
Are you referring to what's listed below? If so, that would be me.

All pretty self explanatory but...

The fog light switch activates the ARB Intensity LEDs in conjunction with the high beams.

Air compressor switch activates the ARB compressor mounted under the hood in a Slee mount.

The OEM 80 series locker switch runs the front and rear ARB lockers.

The Trekboxx really simplifies staying organized in the field. During the quest for the perfect "pantry" I realized that two milk crates fit perfectly on top of the PS drawers, thus making great breathable storage for dry goods and food that doesn't need refrigeration. A 1" QD Sea to Summit strap keeps them securely in place yet easily accessible.

Escape Gear, not cheap (to say the least) but they're great. Made in South Africa and imported by Paul May at Equipt.

Toyota Land Cruiser 100 Series VX Front and Rear Seat Covers Grey

Slightly off topic but I really like the side pocket on the outside of the front seats. It's an excellent place for a tourniquet (CAT fits perfectly), discreet but very handy. It's nice to have one on each side of the vehicle in the same spot. There isn't a TQ in the pic but I'm talking about the small pocket with the snap on it.

Cheers!
