I know, I know. It isn't a Toyota. However, I am selling it to buy a Toyota and it really is a great truck, so I thought I'd try here too.
My Disco has 70,500 miles, is located in Los Angeles, CA and the reserve on auction is $11,000. The ad is a bit cheesey and the wording is a little flowery, but you have to pander a bit on ebay.
A few recent repairs are as follows:
New engine (short block) - not a rebuild.
Valve guides
Coil and plug wires
Front driveshaft and U-joint
Recently resealed transfer case
All records
About 5,000 miles left on the warranty
I just had a very extensive inspection done by the dealer. Three very small leaks were found and are being fixed. Other than that, they couldn't find anything wrong with it.
It's a great truck and I'll be sad to see it go but it is time for a diesel LC and I can't afford one until this thing is gone.
There are a few scratches and alterations to the interior, so please check our the ebay ad for photos and details. You really aren't going to find a better Disco out there.
