There are several there. It's just a little too far for me.

IIRC I did a Carfax on most of the ones they had and it looks like many of the come from the NE.

$25k seems awfully pricey for that. I mean, it's got $3500 worth of bumpers + another $500 in lights, but that's really all. My LX had 151k on it, was in immaculate condition (OK/GA/TX vehicle its entire life) and I paid under $12k completely rust free with full service records. This dealer seems to charge a lot more for LCs than others I've seen, especially here in TX.

If you found an immaculate 03-07 Lx or LC with 150k miles and a full service record for 12k in TX, I'd pay you the same 1k offered by the other thread to buy it. I haven't seen anything close to that low and I've been looking for a year.

It's crazy how many from up here in the rusty states make their way down south. I've been able to see that with several LC's I've found down south with CarGurus or AutoTrader. They appear to be good, but then early on in the reports, they were in the north for several years. Not saying there are no good ones up here, but I have yet to see one :)

I should have clarified....mine is a '98. The mileage was ridiculously low for the year and I didn't have to worry about the factory nav. Sure, I have the 2pinion front vs the 4 (2000's and later), 4-speed vs 5 and no VVTi....but those didn't really matter to me.

I saw and test drove a LOT of LC/LXs over several months with varying mileage and condition before I lucked into the one I ultimately got. I've learned that mileage isn't always what it appears to be.....I saw several that were at 110-125k that hadn't had the TB/WP or AHC flush done (BIG indicator to me that the PO didn't take care of the vehicle). There was a 99 LX in SA that I almost bought that had 205k on the clock, but had every single service record done on time without a single miss from Lexus out of Houston. The seller wanted $7500 and I balked because I didn't understand fully what I was looking at and anything with 200k frightened me (I feel like an idiot for passing on it).

You absolutely will not find a LX or LC with 150k miles on it, tx car, no rust, immaculate condition, for 12k. NO! Just no. I have looked for almost 8 months now and just bought one this week, (not12k). This is obvious but what sets price is availability, condition, history, mileage, and rust if you're me. You can Find them ragged out all day for 10-12K. Decent condition 15-18. Closer to 25-30k for very nice examples (what one would call immaculate). And some people have a 10-12k truck for sale for 18k. Its just crazy. That Oklahoma dealer is very high on their stuff, because they are just that, a dealer. This is just my opinion of course

I can assure you, I paid 12k. Immaculate? Never said it was....it's 20 years old. No dents or scratches. Interior had the typical wear expected (no tears or holes). It was listed here on the Classifieds and on the DFW Craigslist. It originally was offered with a CVT RTT tent. But, the seller elected to keep the tent and we arrived at the 12k price. 151,223 was the exact mileage on the clock at the time of purchase. It is rust free. The PPI done by Sewell in DFW was perfect. Austin LC Specialists looked at it when I baselined it and gave it a resounding thumbs up. Seller even had all the AHC spares and fluid. I got lucky, sure. But, those deals out there exist if one is patient.
