I’m contemplating selling my 2003 LX with 150k miles. It’s in really good shape. I bought it with 88k miles from the original owner. It’s been an incredible ride for me but I’m in the market for a 200. My LX is basically bone stock aside from upgrading the OEM headlights to Morimoto HIDs - which is an incredible upgrade. I’ve had zero issues with the truck. I had Davenport in Plano, TX baseline everything when I bought it as well as change the timing belt, water pump etc. Since then, full brakes at 100k and religious oil and filter changes is about all that’s been required. I also just replaced the windshield at Park Place Lexus (OEM glass). There’s a few tasteful interior mods but nothing crazy (cupholder upgrade, Scanguage 2, Grom Bluetooth etc). Ceramic tint all the way around. She cruises nicely down the highway at any speed. Zero rust, Texas and California, car garage kept almost its whole life. Interior is equally clean. Weathertech mats, non-smoker, non-“pet vehicle”. Of course it has its character marks but no gashes in the seats or anywhere else, for that matter.

The bad: The KO2s are probably 2/3rds worn out. Paint is in overall great shape but there’s some rock chips which were poorly touched up and a couple of other minor imperfections.

I’m in Richardson, TX. I plan to post to the classifieds and list elsewhere but would like y’all’s general feedback before I set a price. Any thoughts on the value?

For peace of mind, I had Blackstone look at the oil a few years back. Here’s the snippet from the report.

These usually get moved to the classifieds.

Beautiful color on the LX. But that Claret Mica RX350 is even nicer :).
We’re a Lexus family 😆

I didn’t post this to the classifieds since I’m really not quite ready to list it. I haven’t found a 200 yet, so just trying to get my ducks in a row first. If I had the space, I’d just own both!

That’s a beauty. Cherry on the sundae would be a clean Carfax. Bundle that with your black stone report and some service records, and you’ve got a seller’s trifecta.

Check classic.com for an auction market analysis, that will help you with pricing. They use hammer price, not listed price, so it’s more accurate. Depends on region, too. A salt belt buyer will snap up a rig like this for top dollar, in Texas, California or the PNW there’s a little more competition. So, you might consider a national audience like BaT or C&B

I like the 2UZ, but a 2GR-FE in a Lexus is 🤌

Good luck with the 200 search, might take a while.
