Pics of the installed subwoofer and amps. Sorry there are no "during" pics but the install was done at a shop in Fort Lauderdale called Auto Sounds Plus.

Where in Fort Lauderdale? We have a house there and plan on something similar this spring. Since they have already done yours I would feel much better having them do it. Any regrets going with them?

They did a really nice job although I really hope they can eliminate the slight hiss at zero volume. From everything I have read that is not so easy. :hhmm:

They had the truck for three days but I would say that is reasonable given that much of the interior came out including the passenger seat, center console, door panels and trim, rear cargo side panels and probably other stuff.

Before delivery they even re-programmed the SRI audio processor because the owner said he was not happy with the initial sound.

Auto Sounds Plus are located on the corner of Commercial Blvd and Prospect Road.

Sounds like they take their time. I just want to integrate the sub into the OEM location with a speaker guard. I am tired of having a ported box taking up space. I'm over in the L'hermitage off A1A. I'll be down there in a few weeks most likely. If you see me honk...looks great BTW.

Wow, really nice install on the sub. Thanks for sharing. Definitely adding this to my idea swipe file.

You can get a jl audio 5,6 or 7 channel amp small enough to go in the stock location under the passenger seat it's really nice and hidden

I think that will only be an option for 1998-2002 models. Not going to work for 2003+

question on the sub box, are the parts on either side of the sub part of the box or are the inserts (or maybe one big insert)? looking at the photo where the it meets the sub, it looks to be continuous.

Thanks

No really sure on that. I know it is rattle free even when the sub is really thumping. :grinpimp:

Mtnracer, did you ever get the hiss issue resolved? If so, what was causing it and what was the solution?
