2002 Lexus LX470 $15,000 111000+ (daily driver)
Update: my wife (seen me upgrade from 60 to 80 to 100) wants me to sell a couple of our cars. She said no way am I going to buy another. So I am open to trades and cash for 60 series lc.
Located in Northern Virginia (20132)
Excellent shape. I have a transferrable warranty till 6/24/2014 or 122,962 miles. It is a good warranty per my mechanic (I bought it from the Land Rover dealer). Ping me and I can give you particulars/etc. The deductable is $250. It does not cover the Nav/Entertainment and brakes/tires.
Done in last year ...
-- Steering wheel tilt motor (fixed under warranty)
-- Throttle Motor/clutch (fixed under warranty)
-- Brakes/Rotors/Flush all around (alas, I covered this expense)
My son clipped a truck (going ~10 mph) when car had 94K. The right front headlamp and body panel were fixed. No lasting impact and really a non-issue.
The AHC works fine.
Annoyances ...
-- Left speakers, under heavy base, will crackle. I lower base and move speaker slightly right so I don't notice.
-- "No disk Detected" It worked till 6 months ago. The disk pops in/out, but beyond the display annoyance, I havent' bothered fixing.
-- Drivers door window control goes up/down, but you need to hold it when putting it up or the window will slide down a bit. I planned on having it fixed under next warranty fix.
I bought it with 93,000 and have been unable to determine if the timing belt was changed (no stickers/etc). My guess is it has not been changed.
If you have any questions, let me know. I have owned a 1983 FJ60 and 1996 LX450 and this is a different beast entirely.
